Falling for Halloween Blog Hop - Day 2!!!

Welcome to the second day of the Falling for Halloween Blog Hop. Thanks for joining us to enjoy all the wonderful crafty inspiration for the fall and Halloween season.

Thanks so much for all of the comments on yesterday's project.... I was thrilled to have you visit and look at my project.

You should have arrived here from Nadia @ http://www.withglitteringeyes.com/ . If you missed the beginning of the hop, please go to Maria's blog to start so you don't miss any of the projects.

Knowing that everyone loves receiving blog candy so you won't be disappointed here... Remember to be eligible follow my blog and leave a comment on each of the Hop Blogs ....  I will be choosing a winner on Monday.

Today,  I have two cards that I made for a wonderful project that Paulette (Scrapalette) introduced us to for Circle Mania it is called Operation Write Home.  Turns out they are located right in my city and I hadn't heard about them before and one that I made for today's blog hop.  I hope that you enjoy my cards and will consider making some for them as well.
There is something about cornstalks that brings fall memories.  Today I used an assortment of paper from Creative Memories and the cornstalks and title are from the Simply Scarecrow cartridge.  The embossing was done with my Cuttlebug and several sizzix folders.  Hope that you enjoy it.

As you can see I am really into the trees and the fence with pumpkins this year.  The owl was cut from the Pooh and Friends cartridge and the border was actually made with the new border maker from Creative Memories..... they have several patterns, but right now my favorites are the fence and pumpkins.  Hope that you like it too.

This was one of my first attempts at distressing.  After using the crimper on my card face it was easy.  I really do like the fall season with all the changing colors.... it does remind me to be Thankful!

And on that note I am "Thankful" for you joining in on the hop today. Please be sure to check out all the participant's wonderful projects. I've posted the list below in case you've missed anyone. The next blog you will be visiting belongs to the very talented Diane @ http://dianesdribble.blogspot.com/

Please check out yesterdays post for the entire list of participants so that you can see all of the great Halloween projects!!!

This has been fun and really helped me get this blog started and I look forward to posting a lot more here.

Have a blessed Sunday!
